The story behind Seven and Earth™

After years of misguided attempts to heal her skin, our founder, Ais, dramatically changed her approach to her complex skin problems. She realised the solutions she had been trying for so long only ever scratched the surface. Relief was only ever temporary and her problems were being masked, not repaired. Once she began to understand the root of her problems, she found a solution that completely transformed her skin in weeks. 

From early childhood she suffered from red, itchy, irritated skin that reacted very easily to everyday household products. In her late 20’s she also developed acne on her face, chest and back. Over the years, she tried a concoction of medications and skincare products that all promised to resolve her issues. They either didn’t work at all, worked temporarily or further irritated her already sensitive skin. 

The day she googled "What is in my skincare products?", her journey to recovery began.

She was shocked to discover that the majority of products on the market (including those advertised as ‘good' or 'gentle' for skin) contain known skin irritants, toxins and cancer-causing carcinogens. She began to understand why her already sensitive skin wasn’t getting any better. 

When she decided to make the switch to natural skincare, her skin began to change. She felt less irritated and, for the first time in her life, began to feel comfortable in her own skin. Whilst the improvements were remarkable, she still found herself reacting to certain products and having acne flare-ups.

Frustration and curiosity drove her to speak with a cosmetic formulator, eager to understand why she couldn't get consistent results. She learned that repairing the issue wasn’t enough. Our relationship with our skin is a lifelong commitment. If your skin is damaged, repairing it is only step one. We then need to strengthen our skin barrier and protect it from future harm.

Determined to find a product that offered this holistic approach, she decided to work with this formulator to create her own. Together, they designed a line of high quality products made from 100% natural ingredients that repair, strengthen and create a protective barrier on the skin. They prioritised gentle, effective ingredients that mimicked the natural oils of our skin and were suitable for all skin types.

Once they found the perfect combination of ingredients, Ais healed her 30-year long skin problems within a matter of weeks. The acne cleared completely and the redness and irritation calmed. Not only did her skin feel healthy, it looked smooth, hydrated and glowing. Best of all, her skin remained this way and continued to thrive.
